The baby bottles, which were sold exclusively on Amazon, were recalled because the markings on the outside of the bottle contain lead levels higher than those set by the federal government, the CPSC said.

About 100 bottles were sold in the U.S. and an additional 77 were sold in Canada.

The bottles were made specifically for the U.K. market and were not intended to be sold in the U.S.

They were designed for newborn to 6-month-old babies and came in a 240-milliliter size.

The bottles have white and gray stars on the outside along with the brand name NUK printed in white and a graduated volume scale also printed in white, the CPSC said.

They have an ASIN B0027SVJ9O.

Call NUK at 888-685-1238 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or visit the company’s website for more information.
