DJ Sco A.K.A. Darius Palmer, born in Tallahassee, Florida and a graduate from Northern Alabama has had a love for music since early childhood. As a child every aspect of music fascinated him from the instruments that made it, to the artists who performed it, & the people who danced to it. At an early age crowd reaction was exciting to him and his ability to make a crowd react became a huge part in who he has become. From dancing, to playing basketball, he has been known to be a crowd pleaser. With his father being not just a member, but the drum major of the Nationally acclaimed FAMU Marching 100, & his mother a member of their dance team, you can say he was born into music. At the tender age of 12 he began flirting with vinyl learning how to use the crossfader, how to catch the breaks, manual pitch adjusting and more, but growing up in South Florida his passion was a form of Deejaying known as Mic Checking! With Dj groups such as Jam Pony & CM Express abusing the streets with mix tapes, and Djs such as Wildman Teddy T & Ant Man on underground radio he soon joined the elite with the ability to Mic Check with the best of them. Through high school he was a favorite at parties & had formed a bond with 3 Djs around the same age who were all together were on another level from those who paved the way for them, John (J-Dogg) Bullard and Corey (Cooter C) Taylor & Dave (Disco D.) Heller. Never loosing his passion for music, but living out one of his dreams, playing basketball at the next level, Sco didn't actively Dj for the next 5 years. Re-surfacing in late 2005, early 2006 with a new found passion for the music itself he reverted back to the earliest learnings he had with the crossfader, and the new additions with the re-loop button, he began to rise once again to the top of his craft and spearhead the movement/coalition known as the Xclusive Djs. A few years later the Xclusive Djs drew the attention of some of the notable record labels in South Florida mainly PBMG which has produced the likes of Flo Rida & Rick Ross to name a few & remaining relevant & consistent has landed him where he currently is now under the Strong Arm I.M.G. label where he still operates under the same 3 guidelines Respect, Loyalty, & Consistency.
