Brandon O Williams aka Urban Mystic was born November 30 1984 in Fort Lauderdale FL to the proud parents John & Shirley Williams. At the age of 5, Brandon join the church choir where his mother was the choir director and musician and his dad was a minister of the Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Lauderdale Florida under the leadership of Rev Dr. Otis C. Allen. As a Fort Lauderdale-born Minister's son, Urban Mystic, or "Urb" as his friends now call him, takes a progressive approach to creating music that is well received across genres and generations. He galvanizes R&B, Hip Hop and Classic Soul beautifully and effortlessly, without losing his gospel roots. Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Brandon is the youngest of four sons. His brothers; Christopher, Jonathan and Brian have been an inspiration in his life. By the time he reached his teens, he knew he wanted to make music his life, and under the tutelage of his eldest brother Christopher, he began preparing for a career in the industry. "Christopher introduced me to the studio where I fell in love with every part of it from playing the piano producing and recording and most of all performing my work", Brandon says.
Urban Mystic -- a name that reflects both his street mentality and his heavenly singing -- he signed to SoBe Entertainment, a division of Warner Music Group. The label released his debut album, Ghetto Revelations, in October 2004 with his KayGee-produced hit single "Where Were You," which quickly resonated at urban radio. The video for the song enjoyed rotation at BET, MTV Jams, and hundreds of video outlets. The popularity of "Where Were You" from his debut album Ghetto Revelations established Urban Mystic as a vocalist to be reckoned with.
His selection as the 2004 Miami Music Award's "Best New Artist" was early proof of Urban Mystic's bright future. He followed with the 2005 single "It's You" featuring Paul Wall, and released Ghetto Revelations II in 2006, garnering even more attention for his stellar vocals.
The third installment of the Ghetto Revelations saga, GRIII: Old School 2 Nu Skool, released in April 2009, offered longtime fans tunes like "Obama: A Change Has Come," "Can't Stop, Won't
