Grady Demon Wilson famously known as Lamont Sanford from the hit 70’s TV Show Sanford and Son has died at the age of 79 from cancer per TMZ.
His son confirmed the news that he passed away Friday morning at his California home in Palm Springs due to cancer complications...

The native from Valdosta, Georgia studied tap dance and ballet and made his Broadway debut at the age of four and even danced at Harlem’s Apollo Theater at the age of twelve.
He got his big break by playing Lamon Sanford on the TV Show Sanford and Son with comedic legend Redd Foxx from 1972 to 1977 and also starred in a TV series Baby...I’m Back (1978) and the New Odd Couple (1982-1983). His last TV appearance was on the series Girlfriends playing Kenneth Miles “Lynn’s” biological father.
