A McDonald’s manager accused of using former employees’ profiles to steal money from the eatery in Sunny Isles Beach has been arrested, according to authorities. Jorge Navarro, 47, was charged with grand theft, identification fraud and organized fraud.

According to police, after receiving reports that the manager was involved in defrauding the business, on Friday (10/16) when they arrived at the McDonalds location in Sunny Isles Beach, they spoke with a Human resources rep who gave them the evidence and documents needed to make the arrest.

Navarro was taken into custody, and during an interview, he confessed to the crimes, according to the arrest report.

In total, he is accused of taking $19,000 from McDonald’s.
