The ZEMCH 2013 International Conference will be an interdisciplinary learning forum encompassing a variety of topics related to housing. Presented from a holistic perspective, the forum will be led by John Onyango, assistant professor at the University of Miami's School of Architecture. ZEMCH 2013 aims to establish an intellectual forum of interactive discussion on design, production, and marketing issues surrounding the delivery of low to zero energy/CO2 emission mass-customized homes being built in developed and developing countries. The conference is open to stakeholders who are involved in housing research, business, teaching, and policy making. Conference Chairs include Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk, dean of the University of Miami School of Architecture; Professor Karim Hadjri, professor of architecture at the University of Central Lancashire, UK; and Masa Noguchi, MEARU, the Glasgow School of Art, UK. The forum is scheduled to be held in the Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center's Glasgow Hall, University of Miami School of Architecture.
