Bird Named Python, The Talking Dogs and Killmamma
Bird Named Python
Bird Named Python is a groove-based rock n’ roll band created from four very different musicians.
The process of what some call “the blues” or dance music or even rock n’ roll is the same in it’s purest form. It is the cohesion of musicians in angst expressing themselves And connecting with others on a basic level.
They do not do it for fame. They do it because they have to.
To play and be one’s self is the purest form of expression.
To be that fragile and exposed, yet seem so powerful…that is
Bird Named Python.
“Fort Lauderdale’s Killmama started in 2012 as the unplanned child of Sophie Sputnik and Rob Kingsley. After teaching herself to play the drums in a 72 hour period, Sophie and Rob began forging a sound far removed from their backgrounds as a singer-songwriter and punk guitarist. Killmama’s sound, grimy as a barroom floor, shimmering like an Everglades backroad in the dead of summer, has overflowed taverns and dives from South Beach to the Deep South. Killmama is South Florida’s raw nerve.”

The Talking Dogs
Just a bunch of dogs that never got picked up from the rock n roll pound and ended up breaking out and started this paw strumming, bone drumming, bass walkin’ rock n roll band.
