La Vela Puerca,
TORREBLANCA is a Mexican band that plays Alternative Pop-Rock (with some symphonic influences and weird, playful, intimate and thoughtful lyrics). It's a band that strives –more than anything- to connect with the audience live at the stage through original, not boring, powerful and intense lyrics., with fresh and streamlined interpretations. Among band members everybody see themselves as friends, companions, accomplices and (more than anything, the main idea) as professional musicians. It's nothing new to say independent music today is new world with uncertainty and surprises. The guys of TORREBLANCA know this and they don't know yet what will happen in the future, but if there is anything they do know is that they all love music and (above all) they love to make music. They hope that music never leaves them and that they never leave music. Ulises Hadjis
Ulises Hadjis is a Pop singer-songwriter whose work has been called "the BEST KEPT SECRET of new Venezuelan music" by HTV, and has been praised for its simple melodies yet heavy lyrics. Apart from being a musician, he graduated from sociology and most recently received a Master degree in Philosophy which are contributive factors in all of his songs. Ulises believes that "the subconscious plays a very important role in all artists' creation process". His current album, Cosas Perdidas, and lead single, Donde Va, were featured and reviewed by influential music blogs and sites worldwide such as Club Fonograma, El Amarillo, Yahoo Music, and Sounds and Colours who called Ulises "one of South America's FINEST POP PURVEYORS". He is currently promoting his new album in the US with dates in New York and Miami.
