The University of Miami Art Gallery presents the MFA Solo Exhibition of Daniel Listwan. Listwan addresses the misconceptions of the human species' superiority over other life forms on Earth. His illustrations and decorative ceramic objects depict the biohazardous organisms that remind us of the frailty of our species and the mortality that we share with all other life. Listwan'sexhibition, The Means To An End, is a reflection upon the precarious relationship we have with other lifeforms with whom we shareour planet. Listwan received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The artist moved to Miami in 2010 to join the University of Miami as a graduate student and teaching assistant and will receive his Master of Fine Arts degree in the spring of 2013.
