The Artisan Lounge presents:
Human Rights | Human Wrongs
Why? Is the question. Art is the vehicle. Love is the answer.
Rights vs. Wrongs? Who will come out the winner? Are we as a community being tolerant or are we choosing to ignore issues too painful to comprehend? Our reality does not change the reality of those living in slavery, unless we have the courage to face the truth. The time has come to listen to our hearts and let the love for one another be the driving force to transform our community!
Art can elicit emotions and feelings people commonly choose to avoid or ignore. This exhibition invites the spectator to face those emotions, be confronted with the harsh reality of what is happening in front of our eyes, and learn how to navigate the resources available in our community to make a positive difference for the freedom of others.

ELEUTHERIA ‘Freedom’ Collection,
by artist Meg Wallace
The Eleutheria collection, a tribute to freedom, challenges one to move out of stagnation and provide love and hope to those in the midst of chaos and destruction.3 paintings were donated to Kristi House’s Project Gold, a safe home for girls rescued from the sex trade, to be auctioned at a later date. 80 percent profit from all of her originals sold at the Artisan Lounge exhibit will go to Caring For Miami, Christ Fellowship’s program against human trafficking.
