Dove Award winning singer songwriter Mitch McVicker has kicked off his "Underneath Tour" in support of his latest album of the same name. Much of this record deals with the practical, earthy truths of the Kingdom of God. The songs have been inspired by Jesus's Sermon on the Mount , in which He teaches that the Kingdom of God does not lie on the surface. And that is the main theme you will find running through "Underneath". Doors open at 7 PM. Mitch McVicker has been giving concerts and recording albums for 15 years. His 1300 concerts have taken him to 49 states and 12 countries. During this time, Mitch has recorded 8 albums. In 2013, McVicker is releasing his ninth recording, "Underneath". After growing up in Kansas, Mitch began working with Rich Mullins. The two of them performed concerts, wrote songs, and where roommates in New Mexico. Mitch was then in the car wreck that killed Rich Mullins. Shortly after Rich's death, and while Mitch was still deep in recovery (a process that lasted years), the two of them won the GMA's Dove Award for song of the year, for their writing of "My Deliverer".
