Brice Davis Brice is a 21 year old singer/songwriter out of Jacksonville, Fl. He began his career as a solo musician after teaching himself guitar and piano the Summer of 2009. His passion for creating music was heavily influenced by artists like Justin Nozuka, Jack Johnson, Bon Iver, Paolo Nutini, and City and Colour. His unique voice and creative lyrics capture listeners attention and drive the songs. When listening to his music, you can expect to hear innovative lyrics, stimulating progressions, and clever harmonies that really bring about a sense of creating a "conscious" state of music. His music is powered by everyday life, personal stories, and ideas that initiate change in the way we think. Powerful lyrics are the driving force of the music and each song is written, played, and sung with passion, meaning, and soul. Brice believes that "music is our common ground and it's what brings us all together" Brice began playing shows around the Jacksonville area in 2009 and soon after, was even offered a gig in New York City... at "The National Underground". Not much later, he was offered a record deal by Tate Music Group based out of Oklahoma. He released his first self produced album "Subtle" the summer of 2010. It hit major online music distribution companies (ITunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, etc) and received great ratings. After his experiment with recording, Brice decided he needed to bring his music to new heights and create life within it. He is currently working on a brand new second album entitled "Organics" in studio with producer Michael Olberding. It is expected to be released sometime around December of 2011. $0
