Friday night of the 11th Heineken TransAtlantic Festival brings electrotango giants Bajofondo to the North Beach Bandshell. The group was formed by Argentine producer/composer Gustavo Santaollala and Uruguyan producer/DJ Juan Campodonico as a collective of the most creative young musicians on both sides of the Rio Plata. Santaollala is a Oscar winning soundtrack composer, who has also been awarded Grammys, Golden Globes and other awards for his groundbreaking work with many leading Latin and rock artists. The night opens with one of Miami's most innovative groups, The Hongs.
