Learning
You have a new DSLR or perhaps you have a point-and-shoot camera with advanced controls and you want to make better images. If that is you, then join us at Calumet University and get Beyond the Auto Mode. Here you will learn what the pros know to capture those magical images with stop action and or dreamy backgrounds.
In three, knowledge-packed hours, our instructor will teach you the power of aperture- and shutter-priority modes, explore bulb for time exposures and, of course, you will discover the creative range of the manual mode. You will also learn white balance settings, the relationship of the ISO in the exposure triangle, focus points, depth of field and much more. More importantly, you will develop skills for creative decision-making and opportunities for creative digital capture.
Course Take Aways
You will leave class as the master of your camera (and not the other way around) and employ various modes for creative capture. You will know how to organize a shot, be able to navigate your controls quickly, have a solid understanding of depth of field, shutter speeds, and combinations thereof.
