Organization Beth David Congregation Primary Category Classes, Workshops & Lectures Extras Beth David has launched an institution-wide campaign to ensure its continuity as Miami's first and oldest synagogue and to build a brand new, state-of-the-art technology center for the next generation of Beth David, including the students at the Gordon Schools of Beth David Congregation. You sre invited to help restore two Torot (Torahs). One of the Torahs was rescued from the Holocaust. The rescued Holocaust Torah is the permanent property of Beth David Congregation, and it will become a part of Beth David's High Holy Day and Jewish communal celebrations. Over the next few months, a series of events will be held for the Beth David and South Florida communities to meet the sofer (scribe), write in the Torah and participate in this incredibly moving educational experience.
