Ethics Policy andSociety: Islam and Euthanasia featuring Soroush Dabbagh of theUniversity of Toronto Mississauga. Dabbagh, an Iranian philosopher, is a visiting fellow in the Department of Historical Studies at the University of Toronto Mississauga. The author of a number of books in Persian on ethics and Islamic theology, he is perhaps the leading writer in Persian on the work of Ludwig Wittgenstein. He is the author of the forthcoming Ethics and Mysticism: Islamic Debates in Post-Revolutionary Iran (Oxford: One World) and numerous articles in bioethics, including end-of-life care and reproductive issues.
