Roge represents the new generation of artists of the Brazilian Popular Music and his sound is the face of Brazil. He plays a groovy kind of samba and moves from bossa nova to samba and reggae, with the ease of someone who composes for himself, creating a fusion of all these rhythms and bringing forth a unique sound. He has released four solo works ("Rogê' in 2003, 'Brasil em Brasa' in 2008, 'Fala Geral' in 2010, and the brand new 'Brenguele'), and over the years sought to create sounds that synthesize the purity of each rhythm by intertwining and merging noise references. His music is so unique and appealing, a groovy kind of samba that sounds excellent. After his 3rd time at SXSW Music Festival, he arrives in New York for his very first show in the city.  $20
