Artists of 19th century Paris depict a world of the sensual libertine, the isolated traveler in a foreign land, of lovers yearning to break their constraints of servitude or finding escape from the mundane in exotic fantasy. The world class trio will perform the music of Maurice Ravel, Saint-Saens and Bizet much in the way it was meant to be heard, in a salon in the depths of a vibrant city.
