Organization Miami Children's Hospital Foundation Primary Category Charity & Social Events Extras Over 200 of Florida International University's (FIU) students will kick-off the biggest college party of the year and have the time of their lives. The committee of the 16th annual Dance Marathon (DM) aims to raise $70,000 for Miami Children's Hospital Foundation (MCHF).Students dedicate their weekend and dance for 25 hours for those who can't. The event will begin on February 9, 2013 at noon and continue through February 10, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. FIU and DM invite and welcome everyone to join these students and members of Miami Children's Hospital Foundation staff in making a difference. This year's theme, "Looney for the kids" will reflect the sorrows and triumphs of the Miracle Children and their families. Hip hop group, Tokyo Love Bots, Zumba instructors, DJs, and many others will be providing entertainment for all ages.
