Musical director Stephen Paulson returns from the SF Symphony’s triumphant tour through Asia to conduct a musical journey with Symphony Parnassus from Italy to Africa in Rossini’s Overture from “Italian Girl in Algiers”, then through Germany and Austria in Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat, with sparkling 16-year old soloist Hilda Huang, and finishing in grand Russia with Tchaikovsky’s masterful 5th Symphony.
