Join Multicultural Student Affairs for our Senior Mwambo Ceremony at 2PM in Gusman Hall.The Senior Mwambo is an African rite of passage ceremony that marks the transition of black graduates from their lives at the University of Miami to advanced education and professional careers.Undergraduate and graduate students who have applied for graduation are encouraged to participate in the Senior Mwambo Ceremony. Invitations are sent out in early March to graduates and their parents so they can make appropriate arrangements to attend the event. Faculty, staff and members of the University community are encouraged to attend as well.
