at Avenue D Saturday, 26 January 2013 Sales Stop at 10:00PM PST 01/26/13 talent The Nick Tannura Quartet   info Nick Tannura is originally from Chicago, and has been playing music his entire life, but began playing guitar when he was 12.  After starting with rock, and other popular music, Nick gradually developed an appreciation for jazz and blues music and gained a deeper understanding of the popular music that originally inspired him to become a musician. While living in Chicago, Nick studied for several years with jazz great Henry Johnson, and was awarded the guitar position in the Illinois Music Educators Association All-State Band.
