What is the Global Game Jam?The Global Game Jam (GGJ) is a global event taking place on the last weekend of January all around the world. During this time local jam sites are form in different cities all around the world where programmers, musicians, artists and all every other kind of game enthusiasts gather to develop games over a period of 48 Hours. A: Although having computer skills is helpful, code experience is not necessary. Designers, developers, artists and anyone is welcome to try their hand at making a game during the GGJ.Is the GGJ only for professionals? A: No. Everyone is welcome.Food...? A: In our attempt to make this Jam available to everyone we have chanrge no admission. Which we believe it to be great but it means one of two things for you, the participant: Bring Your Own: Make sure to pack up food for the event, you will be there from Saturday to Sunday afterall.
