At the April 14th meeting of the Miami Watercolor society, Lynda Wellens will demonstrate a simple silk painting process. Lynda is a member of the Miami Watercolor society and has taught silk scarf painting, as well as, several other classes at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens for several years. At the April meeting Lynda will brush, dab, roll, and splatter paint. She will also use salt, alcohol and Indonesian tjaps to create texture and additional designs. In addition, Lynda will demonstrate a modified tie-dye process for even more design possibilities.
