DAY OF SHOW: $10 ($15 for under 21)Pool Party Band: Pool Party is a 3-piece electronic infused hip hop band from San Diego. The dynamic group mixes dance tempos, deep bass lines and smooth vocals to create a truly unique sound. Influences of dubstep, drum n' bass and break beats lay the foundation for a high energy live show rare to both the electronic and hip hop world. With Pool Party, the boundaries are broken and the beats are heavy. We Are/She Is: WA/SI is an alternative/dance duo from Orange County & Los Angeles, CA. Known for their Matt & Kim meets The Go-Go's sound, they have opened for artists such as The Naked and Famous, Foxy Shazam and Uh Huh Her. Their songs Barlights and Puzzles were featured on The Real L Word, and they are planning to release their second EP Spring 2013 followed by another west coast tour. Kidforce : KIDFORCE is the brainchild of Rhett Raha, who started performing in a hard rock band at age 14, began writing and recording by 15 and played his first gig at the same age, where he won a "Battle of the Bands" at B.B. King's at Universal Citywalk. When he was 19 he dropped out of school to pursue music as a career with his band Kid Force. They recorded an EP on the fly that garnered a thousand downloads over eight months and began gigging with acts such as Far East Movement, Shwayze, The Knux and Trouble Andrew, who approached them to remix his song "Chase Money," which made it on Fuel TV's Elektro Circus snowboarding commercial in 2010. A chance meeting in Hollywood with Europop band The Black Pony led to a swift collaboration with guitarist Eugene Flitner. The resulting song, "Crush," made the band's album and was a hit on their "Crush Tour 2011." By the summer of 2011 the other members had left Kid Force, so Rhett appropriated the name KIDFORCE for himself. Django Hank : I want my music to be a hand on your shoulder, a good time. In my music I try to fuse my interests in swing, folk, and punk in a way that is nostalgic but also true to my own insecurities and weaknesses. You might dig my music if you like Reinhardt, The Velvet Underground, or Bright Eyes. Names In Vain: Richie (vocals, guitar) has been playing in the Southern California music scene for over twelve years. “It never gets old.” Heavily influenced by English rock bands from all eras. Inspired by love, hate, beginnings and ends, great melodies, and the unknown future. Michelle (vocals, Bass) has written about music for years as an aspiring music journalist, so it only came natural for her to join Richie on the other side of the microphone. Influences such as Fleetwood Mac and Blondie have led to the same musical affinity as Richie for strong melody and rock harmonies. Their song "Summons" has been featured on the T.V show "Gossip Girl"
