The band combines elements of early rock ‘n’ roll, country, and rhythm & blues to deliver its own brand of American Roots music that satisfies like homemade apple pie. Elison Jackson- Formed in late 2009, Elison Jackson is a folk-rock band from Connecticut. They are fronted by folk singer Sam Jackson Perduta with shared vocals from gospel singer Arthur Williams, and backed by Kevin Aust on bass/trumpet and Kevin Marrs on drums and percussion. They are independently releasing their first album, recorded in Oxford, CT with New Haven band Sidewalk Dave.
