Consuelo Castañeda intends to "create large-scale models of the service industry: a spa, a boutique, a cyber-center, a reading room, a lounge, an object reception area and the like." The system used is based on the act of recycling physically and conceptually the materials found in all the disposable surrounding us, presented as elements of modernity. Designing these spaces of "utility" from stereotyped services facilitates the use of the quotation referred to as modern architecture and induces comments related to the proper satisfaction of some social needs.
