Description From 12/29/12 through 1/4/13 Primary Category Art Exhibitions Extras This year's Student Exhibition promises to be as exciting as each of the preceding twenty- six years. "Impressions in Watercolor" preserves and promotes the unique character of watercolor as a medium among our young artists. It is the result of an enduring partnership between Miami Dade Public Schools and The Miami Watercolor Society. The exhibit is the culmination of months of creative interaction and instruction between teachers and students of all ages. It begins in September with a teacher's workshop that is provided by the Miami Watercolor Society and hosted at Fairchild Botanic Gardens. The event is then brought to fruition at the Dave and Mary Alper JCC with this exhibition.
