The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Jackson Health System'sannual Town Hall,"Creating Synergy through Partnerships," will includeapanel discussion with key community service partners followed by aninformation expo with exhibits by organizations that provide services to cancer patients and caregivers. The event takes place on Friday, November 16 from12 to2:30 p.m. at the Jackson Diagnostic Treatment Center, 1611 NW 12Avenue,Room 259. Panelmoderated by W. Jarrard Goodwin, chief medical officer of Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Panelists: Berta Rios,American Cancer Society; Peggy Rios,Cancer Support Community; Adriana Cora, League Against Cancer (La Liga); Seth Berkowitz,Leukemia and Lymphoma Society;Pamela Burnett, The Beautiful Gate;Cathy Band, VITAS Innovative Hospice Care. Informationexpo will showcase support services offered at Sylvester and Jackson plus services offered at community health centers and organizations.
