From opera to electro-acoustic pop, singer IVA's versatile voice has garnered rave reviews for her unique sound and style. Described as Madonna meets Enya, with an operatic twist, IVA has received critical acclaim from Billboard magazine, performed on NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien, debuted at the Royal Opera in Stockholm and released two pop albums. Philadelphia's own Tripod Trio (Rie Suzuki, clarinet; Timothy Schwarz, violin; and David Pasbrig, piano) joins as a co-collaborator, drawing from a repertoire of classical standards and 20th century compositions. Together, IVA and Tripod Trio present a program of musical contrasts, rooted in the classical realm but expanding to include a range of musical styles.
