The Latino Voter in the 2012 Presidential Election
A Panel Discussion by FIU Experts
October 15, 2012 | 10 AM | FIU Modesto A. Maidique Campus | MARC Pavilion Join the School of International and Public Affairs for a panel discussion addressing the results of an FIU/The Miami Herald/El Nuevo Herald poll of 2,000 likely Latino voters in the United States and an additional 1,000 in Florida. The poll results will be released the morning of the panel. Experts will discuss the results of the political poll, which asks a series of questions regarding the presidential election and how Latinos will vote in November. Latinos make up the country’s largest minority and about 9 percent of the U.S. electorate.
