Description:
Known as the premier composer and the premier lyricist, Rodgers & Hammerstein's influence extends far beyond classics like Oklahoma!, Carousel and South Pacific and can even be seen in shows as recent as the current Broadway hit The Book of Mormon. This course will not only look at the team's revolutionary artistic vision and major shows but also their work with previous collaborators, their disparate personalities and even some of their little-known failures. There will be four sessions.
