Previously, she and her band were named Austin’s Best Blues Band at the 2009 AMAs where Carolun picked up the award for Best Female Vocalist. Carolyn has several awards from the Houston Music Awards (Best Guitarist, Musician of the Year, Release of the Year, Single of the Year, among others).
