Clairissa Jenkins story begins at a Red Lobster in Mesa, Arizona where she was working as a hostess. It was there when a radio executive noticed her "style" when dealing with a difficult customer over the phone and thought her attitude would be great on the radio. Clairissa still holds the record at her local high school as the reigning shot put champion, mostly because recent students have been afraid of challenging and possibly surpassing her milestone. Other career highlights include a "never confirmed" romance with Tupac, being banned from Denny's due to a parking lot fight in Oakland, CA, and a "best radio host" award from the Parks and Recreation Department in Marysvale, Utah.

Paula

"Sunday Morning Joy" :

While in middle school. Paula and her family relocated to South Florida from Buffalo, New York. She attended Parkway Middle and is a member of the founding class of American Senior High School. Ask her and she’ll tell you Carol City (now Miami Gardens) and Dania Beach are home.

She earned a Bachelor Degree in Communications from Trinity International University, a Master in Technology Education from Nova Southeastern University and works a as an educator in a Broward school.

Paula credits her father for her deep appreciation for all genres of music. In high school her favorite past time was listening to the smooth sounds of Tina Perry on the now defunct WCKO. She never dreamed it would be her future career spanning 30 plus years. She started at WRBD, has worked at WMBM, Lite 101.5, Majic102.7 and the now defunct Rhythm 98. One thing she wants you to know is that she enjoys listening and talking to you as much as you enjoy her.

Here’s a list of Paula’s favorites: her family, especially six grandchildren, gospel, jazz, spoken word, Rustic Inn, Longhorn, Savannah, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Lays with Pepsi please!
